Niela Lis is a photographer and art director working at the intersection of image and narrative, shaping visual stories with emotional and conceptual depth. She collaborates closely with creative director Paula Amaral to define the visual identity of Muese, translating stories at an early design stage and weaving them into a refined, cohesive visual language.

Her practice is driven by a sensitivity to human experience and its capacity to transcend cultural boundaries, using imagery as an intuitive and shared form of communication. Influenced by the dialectics of cinema and visual art, she approaches the image as a site of atmosphere, gesture, and presence.

Having studied culture and psychology at the University of Warsaw and Università degli Studi di Padova in Italy, Lis is attentive to subtle visual cues that shape attitude and emotional resonance. 

Her work moves fluidly between still life and fashion, guided by a sustained interest in honesty and authenticity within self expression, viewing the process of building trust in one’s inner voice and a grounded sense of inner worth as an essential, continuous, lifelong journey.
